Dear Los Angeles…

Yesterday, I stumbled upon my old love letter film to Los Angeles, made 2 years ago. I sent a call out to my Facebook friends to share their magical stories of how moving to LA affected their lives. I collected those stories into one, and quoted each one directly in the script. One actor (because, budget) and I travelled all over town on a Sunday morning. It was a delight to observe neighborhoods as a filmmaker, a local, and as a tourist at the same time. During post-production, I was learning how to adjust for cinematic color correction, so I had a blast playing with LUTs and other nerdy Premiere things. Sure wish I invested in my gimbal earlier, though. Hit play + enjoy!
